What do i do with my hair for prom?
I have a black one shoulder dress with tons of sequins and beading coming out from my side in sort of a sunburst pattern. It's just above knee length and I'm wearing silver rhinestone heels from aldo 
. My hair is dark dark brown and down to the middle of my back.

I think the best you should do is go to a hairdresser salon like during the day (not just bfore the night) With some time in advance, and having called in the hairdersser beforehand, so you dont have to wait.
Whoever is going to do you hair is a pro (hopefully- so make sure you go to a salon which is specialized on those kind of things - events and that stuff) so she/he will be able to tell you exactly what they can do with you hair. I would suggest something realy fancy and cool.
My hair is naturaly straight and long. They started off curling it, and then she made it all like "tied up" style. it is impossible to describe it, but I thoguth that it looked incredible. It was like half tied at the top and having it dropping down to one side with the curls covering the top bit.... and well its just reaaaaly hard to explain... But I think that this would be a great option to ask a hairdresser to do something realy cute.
Once I also saw a girl that had the hair like lady gaga in the video pokerface - the one that looked like a bow xD They can do tos kind of modern thigs too. However all this would cost you money :/
if you realize that in the end you dont like it (Which is quite unlikely) then you have enough time to unwind it and do something simpler like straigeten or curl it (using a straightener technique)
You can always opt for the traditional looks, straigtened hair or curly by yourself or with friend, you can buy a hairclip that is realy sweet, like a butterfly or somehting to put in the hair to make irt more stylish.
